Europe is the second smallest continent, but it has a lot of countries packed into it! There are about 44 countries in Europe, including France, Germany, Italy, and Spain. Around 750 million people live there. People in Europe speak more than 200 different languages.
Europe has snowy mountains, green forests, and sunny beaches. The Alps mountain range runs through several countries and has peaks covered in snow all year long. The Eiffel Tower in Paris, France is over 1,000 feet tall. The Colosseum in Rome, Italy was built almost 2,000 years ago and could hold 50,000 people.
