About 70 percent of Earth is covered by oceans, which makes it look like a beautiful blue marble from space. Earth also has mountains, deserts, forests, and ice caps. Our planet has one moon that lights up the night sky. A blanket of air called the atmosphere keeps us warm and gives us air to breathe.
