Bald eagles have a white head and a dark brown body. Their yellow beak is strong and sharp. They have huge wings that can spread wider than a grown-up is tall. Young bald eagles are all brown and do not get their white head until they grow up.
Bald eagles love to eat fish. They fly over lakes and rivers and grab fish right out of the water with their sharp claws called talons. They also eat small animals and other birds.
