Puffins have bright orange beaks and black and white feathers. Their beaks get even more colorful during the spring. They have short wings that they flap very fast to fly through the air.
Puffins live on rocky cliffs near the sea. They dig little tunnels in the ground to make nests for their babies. Puffins spend most of the year out on the open ocean and only come to land to raise their chicks.
