Valentine’s Day is a special day for friendship and kindness! We celebrate it every year on February 14th. People often give cards called valentines to their friends, family, and teachers. It is a wonderful day to tell the people in our lives how much we care about them.
On Valentine’s Day, many classrooms have a fun party! Children make pretty boxes to collect their valentine cards. Some people also share sweet treats like heart-shaped cookies or pink candy. We can also show love by being helpful or giving a big hug to someone we love.
