Gandhi is famous for leading giant peaceful walks called marches to stand up against unfair rules! His most famous walk was all the way to the ocean to pick up a little bit of salt as a way to say “no” to bad laws. He never used fighting or mean words, only peace and love. He helped India become a free country that could make its own rules!
