Harriet sneaked back many times to guide her friends and family to safety on a secret path called the Underground Railroad. It was not a real train, but a secret way to travel to safe homes! She used the bright North Star in the sky to find her way at night. Harriet helped about 70 people escape and never lost a single person on her long journeys!
