Firefighters are brave heroes who help keep us safe. They wear special coats, heavy boots, and big helmets to protect them from heat and smoke. When there is an emergency, they jump into their big red fire trucks and race to help!
Firefighters use long hoses to spray water and put out fires. They also use tall ladders to reach high places and save people or animals in trouble. Firefighters even visit schools to teach children how to stay safe at home. They turn on loud sirens and bright lights so everyone knows to move out of the way.
Firefighters keep our neighborhoods safe from fires and other emergencies. They are always ready to help, day or night. We are so lucky to have firefighters in our community watching over us.
