Tyrannosaurus Rex was one of the biggest and scariest dinosaurs that ever lived! Its name means “tyrant lizard king.” T. Rex lived about 68 million years ago, long before people were around. It is one of the most famous dinosaurs in the whole world!
T. Rex had a giant head with super sharp teeth as big as bananas! It walked on two strong back legs and was about as long as a school bus. Even though T. Rex was huge, it had tiny little arms that were shorter than a grown-up’s arms. Its tail was long and heavy to help it balance.
T. Rex lived in forests and open areas in what is now North America. It was a meat eater that hunted other dinosaurs for food. T. Rex could chomp through bones with its powerful jaws! Scientists find T. Rex bones buried deep in the ground and study them to learn about how it lived.
