The White House is a very special and famous building in Washington, D.C. It is the big white house where the President of the United States lives and works! The house has many tall, round columns and over 100 rooms inside. Almost every President in our country’s history has called the White House their home.
Inside, there are many beautiful rooms, including a movie theater and even a bowling alley! The President works in a special room called the Oval Office. Outside, there is a large green lawn and a pretty garden where the President’s pets can play. The White House is a wonderful symbol that represents our whole country.
