A community helper is a person who lives and works in our neighborhood. They have special jobs that help everyone else stay safe, healthy, and happy. We see community helpers every day when we go to school, visit the doctor, or go to the store.
There are many different kinds of community helpers. Some help us learn, like teachers and librarians. Others keep us safe, like police officers and firefighters. Everyone has a part to play in making our community a great place to live!
