Anne Sullivan was a very special teacher who helped a young girl named Helen Keller. Helen could not see or hear, but Anne did not give up on her! Anne taught Helen how to talk using her hands to spell words. She was incredibly patient and showed the world that everyone can learn if they have a little help.
Because of Anne’s hard work, Helen grew up to write books and help other people. Anne and Helen stayed best friends for their whole lives! Anne is remembered as a wonderful teacher who believed in her student. She proved that with love and a good teacher, kids can do amazing things!
