Neil Armstrong was a very brave astronaut who flew in a rocket ship! He traveled all the way up into the dark sky to visit outer space. Neil wore a special white spacesuit to keep him safe while he worked. He was part of a very important mission called Apollo 11!
Neil was the very first person to ever walk on the moon! When he stepped on the dusty ground, he said it was a giant leap for all of us. He left his footprints on the moon and brought back shiny moon rocks to share. Neil showed everyone that we can reach for the stars!
