Marco Polo was an explorer from Italy who went on a giant trip! He traveled with his father and uncle all the way to a faraway land called China. They walked on a famous path called the Silk Road and saw many wonderful things. It took them three whole years just to get there!
In China, Marco met a very important ruler and learned about amazing new inventions! He saw paper money, shiny silk clothes, and even yummy noodles. When he went back home, he wrote a famous book all about his big trip. His book helped other people want to explore the world, too!
