Amelia Earhart was a brave pilot who loved to fly airplanes high in the sky! She was the very first woman to fly all by herself across the huge Atlantic Ocean. When she was a little girl, she saw an airplane and knew she wanted to fly one day. She wore a special leather jacket and flying goggles to stay warm in the air!
Amelia wanted to fly all the way around the whole world! She packed her special airplane and took off on a giant adventure. Even though she did not finish her trip, she showed everyone that girls can be amazing pilots. We remember her today for her bravery and big dreams!
