Sunita Williams is a fantastic astronaut who was born on September 19, 1965! She loves flying so much that she spent 322 days living on the International Space Station. While she was floating high above the Earth, she even ran a whole marathon on a special treadmill inside the spaceship! She loves showing kids how fun it is to exercise, even in zero gravity!
Sunita is also super brave and has gone outside the spaceship for many spacewalks! She put on her big spacesuit and floated in the dark sky for more than 50 hours to help build and fix the space station. Before becoming an astronaut, she flew helicopters for the Navy and learned how to save people! She is a true space hero who loves going on exciting adventures!
