Christina Koch is a brilliant astronaut and engineer who was born on January 29, 1979! She went to the International Space Station and stayed there for 328 days, which is the longest time any woman has ever lived in space! While she was up there, she floated around and did lots of cool science experiments. She even helped take care of plants growing inside the spaceship!
Christina is also famous for teaming up with her friend Jessica Meir to do the very first all-female spacewalk! They put on their bulky white spacesuits, stepped outside the spaceship, and used tools to fix a broken power unit while floating high above the Earth. Now, she is getting ready for a brand new mission where she will fly around the Moon!
