Iguanas are big lizards that are usually bright green. They love to sit in the sun on tree branches to stay warm. Iguanas live in warm, tropical places like rainforests.
Even though they look scary, iguanas mostly eat plants and leaves. They have a row of spines that goes down their back and a long, strong tail. Iguanas are great swimmers and can hold their breath underwater!
