The bullfrog is one of the biggest frogs in North America. It gets its name because its deep call sounds like a bull! You can often hear bullfrogs singing “jug-o-rum” near ponds and lakes.
Bullfrogs love to sit in the water with just their eyes poking out. They eat bugs, small fish, and almost anything that fits in their big mouth. Bullfrogs can jump up to six feet in one giant leap!
