The dalmatian is a white dog covered in black or brown spots. No two dalmatians have the same pattern of spots, so every one is special! Dalmatians are tall, strong, and very fast runners.
Dalmatians are famous for being firehouse dogs. Long ago, they used to run next to fire trucks to help clear the way. Dalmatians need lots of exercise because they have so much energy to burn!
