Swans are big beautiful birds with long curvy necks. Most swans have white feathers, but some swans are black. They glide across lakes and ponds and look very graceful. Swans are one of the largest birds that can fly.
Swans eat plants that grow in the water. They dip their long necks under the water to reach food at the bottom. Baby swans are called cygnets, and they are gray and fluffy. Swan parents take very good care of their babies and keep them safe.
