The cougar is a big cat that lives in North and South America. It has tan fur and a long tail. Some people call it a mountain lion or a puma, but they are all the same animal!
Cougars are great jumpers. They can leap as far as a school bus is long! They like to live alone and are very quiet. You might walk right past one and never know it was there.
